Coco and the Butterfields spell-binds sell-out crowd at Acoustics in the Wood
Published: 16 September 2014
On Saturday 13th September, a little bit of magic happened in our quiet corner of Woodchurch. Kent’s hottest bands of the moment Coco and the Butterfields & Van Susans and a host of other local folk talent dazzled a sell-out crowd with their amazing sets.
Set in the heart of the picturesque Kentish countryside, our beautiful 12 acre Rainbow Wood - dotted with tea lights, came alive with over 400 revelers who joined us for a fantastic evening of live music under the stars.
The set list was so crammed with local talent, that Coco and the Butterfields ran out of time for their encore, but delighted the audience by leaving the stage and performing an impromptu unplugged set to finish their show.
Event organiser Leila IlKhan, said “We are so thrilled by the incredible evening that we’ve hosted here at Rainbow Wood. There is such a bohemian atmosphere, the music was outstanding and the Wood provided the perfect back-drop to frame such wonderful local musical talent. What’s more, all the profits raised tonight support our COT Charity”.
A special thank you to our sponsors Nurse Plus, ATEM and Greenman Solar.
