Published: 23 December 2015
The Coterie tea room in Rye, which is run by the Canterbury Oast Trust (COT), has developed a tasty Christmas Pasty which has proven to be a huge hit with its customers!
The Christmas Pasty is made with turkey, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, parsnips, sprouts and carrots, and is served with sage gravy. There’s also a vegetarian option, made with Quorn.
It makes your mouth water just thinking about it!
Sharon Finch, the Coterie Tea Room Manager said: “We are really pleased with our Christmas Pasty, and it’s proved to be really successful with our customers, so we know to make more next year! I’d like to wish a very Merry Christmas to all our customers, and to thank you for your support - we couldn’t continue our work without you.”
