HARVEST FUN AT RARE BREEDS

Come and celebrate harvest time at the Rare Breeds over the weekend of September 14th and 15th when you can experience all our usual fun and excitement with extra harvest themed attractions- at no extra cost. Our annual pass holders can enter free as usual.

Come along and learn how we grow and harvest all sorts of food- we use much of it in our restaurant and there might even be some to buy! Our resident shire horse, Toby who has proved the big hit of this summer with everyone,  will be accompanied by Beau the beautiful Suffolk punch – Beau will demonstrate bygone farming techniques which Toby has still to learn!

We will have steam tractors on site to marvel at and the ever popular vegetable sculpting to try your hand at – Mums and Dads too if they want!

And before you come, make a scarecrow to bring along and enter our competition for best dressed scarecrow, prizes to be won.
