The Legendary Route Day 6

Day 6 was quite straightforward battling our way through the outskirts of Liverpool during rush hour but a level ride into the Chester plains. All good except for 2 hours constant heavy rain and hailstones, all with strong sideways gusts. 30 miles with water penetrating everywhere including our boots!

Once we recovered from the cold we had a lovely run though into Shropshire and a comfortable finish. (See photo) Toughest day of the ride tomorrow aiming for Wincanton not bath!

Bodies feel better for physio and tweaks to the bike fittings.  

Over 700 miles now and in the South West tomorrow
