We are an Award Winning team!

The Canterbury Oast Trust team were announced as Winners of National Care Employer of the Year, at last night's National Great British Care Home Awards. Held at London's Grovesnor Hotel, the Awards pay tribute to those who have demonstrated excellence across the social care sector. The Awards recognise outstanding frontline staff, from care workers and care managers - to people who have made an impact in other ways, such as through training and innovation. 

The 'Care Employer' Award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate employers’ commitment to care, and success in delivering an excellent service. Employers had to demonstrate considerable acumen and entrepreneurial flair, whilst at the same time having a sustained track record of delivering high quality care and managing improvement.

The team were thrilled to be recognised for all their hard work and dedication, and for the unique way that together, we provide life-skills and support to help our Residents and Service Users to live independently, and to take control of their lives. This is what makes the Canterbury Oast Trust different, and to be presented with such an award really is a huge achievement for us. Thank you to everyone who contributes to the Trust; Residents, Service Users, Staff, Volunteers, Friends, Families and Supporters. Our success is all down to you.
