Taking up a development opportunity at Rare Breeds Plants and Produce could suit you down to the ground.

Rare Breeds Plants and Produce have a plant nursery and shop set in the beautiful surroundings of the South of England Rare Breeds Centre. We have a nursery and growing area with 3 polytunnels and plant and vegetable growing beds. We also have a Plant Centre where we sell our plants to customers.

Training at the Rare Breeds Plants and Produce will develop your skills in:

• Horticulture: The care of plants and the identification and control of weeds
• Seasonal planning: preparation for the different crops throughout the year
• Communication: working as part of a team and helping members of the public

You can work at Plants and Produce towards an accreditation from City and Guilds or to gain work experience. We also provide opportunities that engage people with the therapeutic aspect of Plants and Produce.
